Dear Parents/Guardians,
This week, it has been wonderful to see all the wonderful learning taking place in school and on the Google Classrooms. We had a special visit on Tuesday from Father Derek who was able to see the children and staff. He commented to us all about the purposeful learning that was taking place. We look forward to further visits from Father Derek, with social distancing measures in place, before the end of the Summer Term.
We have had a generous donation of bedding plants from Longbeck Nursery in Marske and our Key Worker children have donned their gloves and planted these in our outdoor prayer garden. They have done a fabulous job as you can see from the photographs.
A lady who regularly passes by our school and who knows Mrs Roughley, commented to her:
– ‘I have never seen such happy children enjoying playing together. It is lovely to see them having such fun in these difficult times.’
